WishTel has launched it’s new IRA Capsule in the Indian market and the tablet-laptop hybrid will go on sale from first week of April at a price of Rs.16,000. The price seems quite competitive considering what the device has to offer.
The WishTel IRA Capsule comes with a 10.1-inch LED multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display that has a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the IRA Capsule gets powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The device also comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 32GB using a micro-SD card.
The rear of the IRA Capsule gets a 5 megapixel camera, while at the front, there’s a 0.3 megapixel camera for video calling. The device gets a massive 8,000mAh battery, which promises to provide an up time of up to 6 hours. The IRA capsule comes with a built-in SIM card slot to offer 3G connectivity, while other connectivity options on the device include HDMI, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
.
Though there are some other tablets from Indian manufacturers which offer better specifications at this price, but the WishTel IRA Capsule targets a different audience, as it falls in the hybrid category and can be used either as a tablet or a laptop. The keyboard that comes along with the WishTel IRA Capsule makes typing quite easier on the device as compared to a tablet and thus, the device is surely better suited for people who tend to do more of tying on their device
