Samsung Galaxy S4 Launched In India For Rs.41,500.

It’s here! It’s finally here! Samsung has launched it’s flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S4 in India today at an event in New Delhi. The smartphone is priced at Rs.41,500 and will go on sale starting tomorrow in Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai via Samsung’s official showrooms. You also have two color options to chose from, Black Mist and the Frost White.

Samsung is bundling a flip cover along with the smartphone for free.

Samsung Galaxy S4 was announced last month in New York, and while the smartphone has largely been receiving a thumbs up in terms of performance, critics have slammed the Samsung Galaxy S4 for it’s plasticky build. Especially, with the likes of HTC One and the Apple iPhone 5 as it’s competitors, the build quality puts the Galaxy S4 to shame.

Coming to the hardware specifications of the smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S4 gets a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display amounting to a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch and the display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-core Exynos processor along with 2GB DDR3 RAM.

For shutterbugs, the Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with a 13 megapixel primary camera along with a 2 megapixel front camera and Samsung has included many new features to enhance the shooting abilities on the Samsung Galaxy S4. New camera features on the Galaxy S4 include dual-video capture mode,Dual Video Call mode and the Drama Shot.

Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will come in storage options of 16/32/64 GB internal storage along with a micro-SD card slot for storage expansion by up to 64GB. Connectivity options on the smartphone would include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, MHL 2.0 and IR LED.
