Greek technology website Techblog.gr has released detailed specifications of the two upcoming tablets in the Galaxy Tab series. According to the leaked specifications, the third generation of Galaxy Tab series will feature two tablets, one with a screen size of 8.0-inch, while the other with a 10.1-inch screen.
Coming to the devices, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Sadly, the tablet will be running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and not Android 4.2, which is the latest version of Android. The 10.1-inch display on the device will have a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1
will come with 16GB of internal storage along with a micro-SD card slot
for storage expansion and the tablet will get a 3 megapixel camera at
the back, along with a 1.3 megapixel camera at the front. For
connectivity, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will get WiFi, DLNA, WiFi-Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G (or 4G).
The tablet will also pack-in a 7,000mAH battery. Measuring at 256.7 × 175.3 × 8.7 mm, the tablet weighs 533 grams.

The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is the smaller of the two devices and the 8-inch screen on the device will come with a resolution
of 1280 x 800 pixels, making it more sharp than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1.
The tablet will be powered by the same processor as the 10.1-inch
variant, but will get higher, 2GB of RAM.
The tablet will get the same set of
cameras as well as same connectivity options as on the Galaxy Tab 3
10.1, but will sport a smaller, 4,500mAH battery. Measuring at 112,1 ×
209,6 × 6,95 mm, the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 will weigh in at about 330 grams.
As far as the availability
of both these devices are concerned, 3G variants are expected to be
available next month, while the 4G variants will go on sale sometime in
June/July.
