Micromax A115 Canvas 3D, which appeared in some leaked images last week, has now been officially listed online on Saholic, but there are no details of the pricing of the smartphone yet and as far as availability is concerned,
it’s still listed as ‘coming soon’. Also, we now have the complete list of specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
According to the listed specs, the Micromax A115 Canvas 3D will come with a 5-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The smartphone will be powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor, which powers the Micromax A110 Canvas 2 as well. The processor inside the smartphone will be paired with 1GB of RAM.
The smartphone will come with an 8 megapixel
primary camera with dual-LED flash along with a 2 megapixel secondary
camera. The Micromax A115 Canvas 3D will come with 4GB of internal
storage along with a micro-SD card slot for storage expansion and the
device gets the usual set of connectivity options which include Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth and 3G. Sadly, here is no word on the capacity of the battery
on the Canvas 3D.
The idea of a 3D smartphone is surely an interesting (and bold) move by Micromax as almost all the 3D smartphones
which have hit the market till now haven’t been successful. However,
Micromax has an advantage as it’s 3D device is expected to be priced
around the Rs.15,000 mark, whereas other 3D devices from the likes of LG
and HTC have been high-end devices, priced over Rs.30,000.
