Staring off with the Nokia Lumia 720, the smartphone comes with a 4.3-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm MSM8227 processor paired with 512MB of RAM which should be able to give the users a near lag-free experience.
One of the key aspects of Nokia Lumia 720  is it’s 6.7 megapixel primary camera that has a f/1.9 lens and Carl Zeiss optics, and Nokia claims that the Lumia 720 would be able to give a high-end camera performance. The smartphone also gets a 1.3 megapixel camera with wide-angle lens at the front. The most affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone till date, the Nokia Lumia 520 gets a 4-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, which seems pretty decent considering the price of the smartphone. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8227 processor paired with 512MB of RAM, which should be able to run Windows Phone 8 without much hiccups.
The Lumia 520 get’s 8GB of on-board storage which can be expanded by up to 64GB using a micro-SD card. The smartphone comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera, but one big downside of the Nokia Lumia 520 is that it misses out on a front facing camera and thus, fails to utilize the tight  Skype integration on Windows Phone 8. The smartphone comes with a 1,430mAh battery and might as well have a hard time to get through a full day’s usage.
To make the deal more lucrative for buyers, Nokia has announced that the buyers of Nokia Lumia 520 will get 1GB of free 3G data for two month on Rcom’s network whereas the buyers of Nokia Lumia 720 will get 2GB of free 3G data for two months on Idea Cellular.
