This is getting funny! It seems that
Xolo is having a hard time keeping it’s upcoming devices under the
wraps! A couple of days back, Xolo Q700, a budget quad-core smartphone
from the company leaked ahead of it’s official announcement and today, another upcoming smartphone, the Xolo T1000 surfaced online.
It’s barely been any time since the Xolo
T1000 leak, and we already have another device that’s just appeared on
the web. Xolo Q2000, a 5.5-inch phablet from the Indian manufacturer is
said to be in the works, and is expected to launch by the end of next
month for an estimated price of Rs.16,000.
Talking of specifications,
the 5.5-inch screen on the Xolo Q2000 has a resolution of 1,280 x 720
pixels, amounting to a density of 267 pixels per inch. The phablet is
expected to feature a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU under the hood, which might
be the same MediTek MT6589 chip that powers the likes of Micromax Canvas HD, Xolo Q800, etc.
The processor will be paired with 1GB of
RAM, while there are no details about the graphics prowess of the
device. The phablet will get 8GB of on-board storage, which will be
expandable via a micro-SD card.
Featuring a dual-SIM card slot, the Xolo
Q2000 might set new standards on the camera front as well, as the
phablet is expected to house a 13 megapixel primary camera. At the
front, the phablet will get a 2 megapixel camera for video calling.
Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the Xolo Q2000 will house a 2,500mAh battery as well.
Xolo looks like the only Indian
manufacturer who is trying really hard to differentiate itself from
other manufacturers, be it in the form of of it’s Intel powered Xolo
X900, X500 , X1000, or the just-leaked, Nvidia Tegra 3 powered Xolo T1000.
