A day after Xolo launched it’s latest
budget quad-core offering in the Indian market, the Xolo Q700, a new
leak has surfaced which suggests that the company might launch a Nvidia Tegra 3 powered smartphone in the country.
Dubbed as the Xolo T1000, the smart phone is expected to feature a 1.5GHz Nvidia Tegra 3
quad-core chip under the hood, which is paired with 1GB of RAM and ULP
GeForce GPU . Tegra 3 is the same processor which runs inside the
popular Google Nexus 7 as well. If the leaked specifications are indeed true, it will be the first time Lava uses the Nvidia chip inside its smartphone
.
Previously, the company has used
MediaTek processors to power its budget quad-core devices. Xolo has
also partnered with Intel, and last year, it introduced the Xolo X900,
first Intel Medfield-based smartphone. The company has recently launched
the X900′s successor, the Xolo X1000 in India.
