In a bid to expand its range of
quad-core smart phones in the country, smart phone-maker Karbonn is
gearing up to launch a new smart phone in its Titanium series, the
Titanium S2.
The smart phone is now available for
pre-order online a price of Rs.10,790, and according to the
retailer, will release on May 14. To make the deal more lucrative for
buyers, the retailer is bundling a flip cover for free along with the
smartphone.
Coming to the specifications, the Karbonn Titanium S2 comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixel resolution) capacitive touchscreen
display, and gets a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. However, the specs
sheet doesn’t lists the amount of RAM on internal storage on the device,
but comparing the Titanium S2 to its predecessors, we can assume that
the smart phone will come with 1GB RAM and 4GB storage space on-board.
There’s also a micro-SD card for storage expansion.
Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the Karbonn Titanium S2
gets an 8 megapixel primary camera, along with a front-facing VGA
camera. Connectivity options on the smart phone include 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS
and Bluetooth, while a 2,100mAh battery powers the smart phone.
The Karbonn Titanium S2 is available in White and Black color options.
The upcoming smartphone from Karbonn follows the Titanium S1 and Titanium S5 budget quad-core smartphones,
which were launched in the Indian market just a short while ago. The
Titanium S1 is available in the market for Rs.10,290, while the Titanium
S5 comes at a price of Rs.11,990.
